We believe every child deserves a responsible and concerned adult who will provide guidance and support, help set and accomplish goals, and act as a positive role model.

About Us

Raising Up Stevens County, or RUSC, for short.

RUSC Kinship is a nonprofit youth mentoring organization that was founded in 2015 and serves families within Stevens County in Minnesota by providing positive role models to youth, ages 5-17, in our rural communities.

Lunch Buddies

Students have one-on-one time with an assigned "buddy" during school lunch. It helps improve both social skills and self-esteem to foster a better attitude for learning — ultimately improving school success!

Not ready to become a mentor, but still want to help us make a difference? We're always looking for crafts & games helpers, day-of event staff, or a host for mentoring activities or visits!
